What is storytelling? Storytelling is all about taking someone on a journey, and your posts should include elements of storytelling. We want to take our audience on a journey that will provide an emotional response and help them to make a decision on whether they want to interact with you, take an action on your post, and ultimately purchase your product or service. It’s all aboutresonating with your audience and creating trust. There are quite a few ways that we can incorporate storytelling and emotional responses into our creatives through links between the image and description, utilising copywriting triggers such as reciprocity and sharing knowledge for free.
The next two sections talk about the STEPPS principles for creating highly shareable content, and also a series of copywriting triggers to help enhance your creative storytelling.
